Given that there is indeed a "Potted Meat Food Product"* for sale in the local grocery store, is it stranger that a) There are three (3!) brands of this offering for sale, or 2) That it is stocked only one item** away from the liver pate'?

*implying that it is neither meat nor food, but possibly some product worthy of being shoved in a pot.
** that item being, of course, pig's feet. (Making me wonder if they've started stocking alphabetically.)

Having lived near "Carolina Packers" (no they weren't a football team) and knowing more than i wanted to about hot dogs and bologna, i wouldn't even dare to speculate about "potted meat food product"

Have you found pickled pork rinds yet?

Nope, not a sight of them yet. Though I think pickling something you've just made crunchy is an odd direction to go.

The pickled pork rinds are not fried. They are pickled _instead_ of fried crunchy.

I prefer not to dwell on the mouthfeel of the product.
