world of warcraft geekery
Feb. 21st, 2005 01:21 pmIf anyone cares, I play on the Zul'jin server.
My character names always start with "Quasi"
Quasibless - 21st level paladin.
Quasibad - wimpy rogue.
Quasibear (maybe?) - possible druid.
just sayin'. where does anyone else hand out?
R and I spent the _entire_ weekend playing (MLW was in SC). Threw up the craft table on the other side of my computer table, ran a network line, worked like a charm. Hella easier than 'chatting'. Much easier to ask, quite calmly, "what the fuck were you thinking?" as we both get overrun by elites. Also, mage / pally combo works well.
Thinking of starting a guild: "Sorry about your daughter."

Date: 2005-02-21 12:07 pm (UTC)But it's on a giant internet server, and it's a huge world, and you share your server ("Zul'jin" for me and R) with all these other people. Some are cool, some are yahoos, but its strangely enjoyable. (This is a newer version of the "everquest" thing.)
So, not a shoot-em-up, more a hack'n'slash.
There's also a monthly fee, though it's less than $15, and the first month is free.
When R found out I asked for it for Christmas, he more or less mocked me for it. Then I let him try it on under my account. Now he's a crack baby.
Heh.

Date: 2005-02-22 06:36 am (UTC)I'm thinking of starting a tauren druid. No reason for him to be on the same server; I don't think they can mail each other.
