At this point, I'm completly unable to focus on work at all.

At least I got one very large and visible bug fixed at lunchtime, so it least it appears that I am working.

Bah.

Because of the ability to actually Pause the game, as well as not having to worry about what's going on while you're trapped at work, there's no real comparison between online gaming and single player stuff.

On the other hand Crack is an incredibly rich non-linear game environment that lets you choose your own path, and I've got a great group of eFriends that I love to do stuff with.

Ehh, two years ago I was doing hard core raiding, and spent almost every friday night and sunday afternoon with 39 other people. Nowdays I play when I can, and don't obligate myself nearly as much.

But there's a reason we call it Crack around my house.

My flavor was/is called WWII Online by CRS. You know how much I like gunpowder age military stuff. This game was really interfering with reality. Everything that moved (tanks, infantry, guns, ships, planes) in the environment was another player (no bots), and the playing field was [i]Northern Europe[/i]. It is still the largest online environment in the world by a few factors of scale.

Hey, so far I've successfully created Holdfast (prot warrior), Quasinart (dagger rogue), thudsplat (enh shammy), Bootblack (rogue), groundfog (frost mage), muzzlehead (orc hunter, currently AH bitch), myboi (be warlock). Can't think of the rest at the moment. Admittedly, most don't get much playtime, but they all do show up in the guild list, and on the guild chat line when I'm talking...
