I finally got around to ordering Michael Penn's two latest CDs. I'm psyched. He's one of those amazing artists that just can't seem to break into the public awareness. Putting out a CD every five years doesn't help, of course. (He's also married to Ami Mann, which is way cool.) Hell, until last month, I didn't realize he had actually put out anything since '90.

And then I got the latest Hootie ("Hootie!") cd to qualify for free shipping. Nothing but cool covers.

Yah, I'm officially an old coot now. At least I have Indie tendencies.
