I'm sorry if that dissapoints you, but I ask you, how often have _you_ wanted to put What's New, Pussycat, on a compilation CD for a friend, and not been able to? It's been an ongoing tragedy for me. 'sides, it was on sale.

Of course, it took forever to find it; apparently he's now considered Easy Listening.

I dare _anyone_ to label a Tom Jones w/ The Art of Noise doing a cover of a Prince song easy listening.

Just sayin'.

speaking of compilation CDs, Ive got the set list almost set up for the one Im making you to thank you for the Apotheosis-based one. its been my constant commuting companion since i got it and I luurve it.

its been hard to come up with something that could top the "MunamaNama" song from the Muppets tho. ;-)

as it happens, what's new pussycat is my favorite song that i've never actually heard all the way through. (my favorite version is still tweety bird's rendition.)
