Holdfast the tank is doing fairly well, with what time I spend on him. Yes, that is my wife screaming in the background about how much time I spend online, but compared to my compatriots in the guild, it's fairly little.

(Oh, and before I forget, I started a couple of horde characters on sen'jin for those days I can't deal with the queue. Come join me! Tanaka the druid (18th level) and, oh, something or other the mage (8th level, I think). I'm actually spending time in the battlegrounds with them. It's a new, empty world. It's loverly.)

As tank, he's up to 5230 hp, 6510 ac, and 376 def. Need to work on the def a bit, get it up to 400. Not to mention something resembling fire resist.)

Anyway, I main tanked in Gul'Zurrub last night, which was a hoot, though I did die a total of nine times before we were done (need to make a repair bot one of these days...) But I'm tanking in MC Friday night, unless the raid fails to get enough healers. First time for this group, so not much expectation, other than four to six hours of bursting into flame.

Just remember my advice to people hooked on Everquest:

Sell everything you own except the computer.
Buy a trailer in Kansas
Install a DSL class dish on the roof
Have food delivered in
Enjoy life.

What ever happened to Quasinart? (Not that I ever play my shaman on that server any more anyway, just curious.)

One of these days I really will get a character past level 41 and not get bored and abandon it. Bit slower on the PvP server though.

Quasinart is happy and well adjusted and living in Oggy at the ripe old season of 59. Sadly, no one has any great need for yet another undead rogue in any of the endgame instances.

Sadly, his main task is to task is to raise money through Arcanite Conversions to support Holdfast and pay his repair bill. (5g last time I did ZG.)

Good luck on Friday, when we rolled most of the guild over the first few trips to MC were quite painful. *grin* Nothing like wiping enough times that you have to reclear the same dogs three times to really slow a raid down.

In short, I feel your pain. *grin* Even if I usually feel it about 30 seconds after my tank feels his ;-)

Don't you guys have queue times, too? When I log into CC at 8:30 (kids are in bed, time is finally my own) it can be up to a 45 minute wait.

And yah, looking forward to an expensive bloodbath tonight.
