First we have a reference to Batman as done by the people that brought you the new Catwoman. Heh.

T&A batman

Then we have rockin' new pics of the new batmobile from the new movie.

(both found through Batman Begins)

No interest in the movie, but...

Cool car! I'd be happy with the batmobile as a trade-in on my Golf!! :o)

And my coworkers scoffed at my test driving a Hummer... (I don't want one, I just wanted to see what it was like to drive!).

*bwhahahaha*

MLW has wanted to test drive one of those things for ever. Me, I'm in the "smaller is nifty" category, and finally got rid of my MR2 when it just got too stupid because of all my spawn. (well, that and the water pump dying).

(as an aside, I'd like to actually chat with you some day when I'm not so tired that I act like a social zombie...)

Well, I didn't actually get to test drive it. I scored an invitation to the GM auto show earlier in the year and had convinced a coworker to go with me - the Friday beforehand we both decided we had way too much to do that weekend so didn't end up going.

For owning, yeah, smaller is better. I love having a car I can park in half the space most people need, and nearly spin on it's access for a U-turn.

I just REALLY like driving. :o)

i don't understand how you could even sit in an MR2, much less drive one... when i test-drove one out here, i found it way too cramped, and i'm a hell of a lot shorter than you!

Was it the newer version, or the old boxier one? Mine was the older boxier one, and I fit just fine. Loved it, even if I did have to have the seat _all_ the way against the fire wall, and the only reason my head fit was because the t-top glass gave me an extra inch and a half of head room.

But lot's of elbow room, and I loved it.

*misses car*.

Back in the Adam Carolla/Jimmy Kimmel days of the Man show when they did the "Wheel of Destiny" they had an interesting prize.

Now my all time bad prize on WOD was "you have to call your mother and admit you masturbate."

The Good prize on WOD was Adam West would take you for a drive in the Batmobile.

Agreed. I really like C. and mine's red 1991 MR-2, the last of that run of them.

No, it's not terribly practical--what two-seater sport car is?--but it certainly is fun to drive and we've got the Toyota RAV-4 for the practical day to day stuff.

*blink* of _course_they are! *blink*

but the batmobile pictured above does look a bit like a *very* short humvee...

(i once did give a male pal a tiny remote control humvee, with the note: "now i can truly say i gave you a hummer" *WEG*)
